Proof is in the pudding

McCain sees things where no one else does. He looks at the map to the left and sees a serious problem with the Iraq-Pakistan border. What, you don't see it? That's because you don't have the foreign policy experience McCain does.

At first I thought that was a bigger deal than the Czechoslovakia gaffe, but then I watched the video and it seemed to be just a word-slip (said Iraq when he meant to say Afghanistan). But then I thought, well maybe that itself is revealing. (Although with McCain, I'd almost rather him have a one-track mind in foreign policy, so he limits his destruction to one country).

One of the best, and the most clever observances I heard about his flub was pretty much this- thanks for the visual aide.

The previous comment is good- McCain came in WANTING to talk about Iraq- and did, except, he was being asked about Afghanistan.

So, the real funny thing is - the only problem, as you point out, with the "Iraq-Pakistan" border...is Iran!

McCain is a Neo-Con in Non-conformist clothing.
